Depending on whether you are wanting to print invoices or reports there are different settings.
For custom reports (those listed in the Gallery on the Reports tab), clicking the PDF button that will print the report to pdf.
For standard reports, clicking the Save button and choosing .pdf as the ‘save as type’ will print the report to pdf.
In both cases above, if the default printer for your computer is set to PDF, the Print button will do the same.
For invoices, printing is a 2-step process. On the Invoices tab, the Print button actually exports the content of the invoice into the selected template which is generated in Excel.
a) If you hosted you will be prompted to save the invoice to your local computer. You will then have to print the file from there.
b) If you are not hosted, the invoice will open in Excel ready to be printed.
You can avoid having to select the printer for each invoice by temporarily setting the default printer for your computer to PDF.
